Friday seemed to be the best day of the week. I woke up early feeling great so I decided to go surf for an hour then I had a delicious breakfast with my Love and Ben. It was 8.30 at this time so I headed to Pasadena to work. On my way there, I was so stoked, some great dancehall in my hears from Switzerland (check it out KyaBamba sound system). As it was early, I decided to check Pasadena skatepark. The spot is sick and they have a mini ramp the only thing that really matters for me. Then all day at work, I was waiting for the time i'll be riding the mini. By the way, I'm a novice. I learnt how to drop in at the Vans skatepark in Orange while I was there for the Free Flow Tour 07/18. After Orange, I went to 3rd Lair last weekend where I learn rock to fakie. I can hear you guys making fun of me but tell me who knows how to skateboard before trying it. Anyway, let's get back to my Friday. At the end of the day, I went to Pasadena skatepark for a really short time...I am 6'4 so you can imagine when I walked in how the kids were staring at me. I stopped near the mini and then I started questioning myself : should I get on the ramp because if I get up there, there is no way I bail and walk down. Also, I had sleepers on because I forgot my shoes. I was really looking for an excuse to get back in my car and leave. BUT A ssam is not a pu#$*e so I went for it. All good until I twisted my ankle and then the best day became a nightmare. I had to drive an hour to get home. Not only that I had to cancel a trip to Denver for the FFT. Now, I am using crutches to walk but I swear to Jahsus, Pasadena skatepark will see me again.

My roommate, Ben "the pizza dancer" introduced me to the PoorBoyz Crew this summer. These guys live in a house in Hermosa Beach not far from my place so we used to surf with Julien Reigner (art director & rider) and Tylor Hamlet (director of the movie). But suddenly Tylor started freaking out because of the movie and he locked himself in his house for a month straight. This guy is insane, he kept on working on the movie while some girls were screaming his name on the beach playing volleyball with their titties jumping from their neck to their belly bouton, APPRECIATE. They finished the movie a week ago and lucky as I am I saw it already. I am telling you the movie is AWESOME. It is a 1hour long movie with a trip in Alaska, incredible powder in Whistler, some park riding and street rails. "Yeah Dude" is definitely a movie you have to buy. Thanks Tylor for giving up on girls to make one of the greatest ski movie ever and the soundtrack is killing it. Big up to Peter Olenik and Chris Benchetler.

What a really good surprise when I found in my mail this morning the
new H8films dvd. After long nights and days
editing, it's finally in my dvd player. I'm stoked to be one of the
first guy to see it -THANKS- . The editing is different than any other
video I've seen so far. It looks like a documentary without the blabla
but showing their chase of white gold. Yann Huissoud, director of the
movie, want us to follow his riders: a road trip movie, kinda. From
France to Finland, then Canada back to Europe, hitting rails in Geneva
and finally shredding Mammoth Mountains in California. Man, if you
didn't travel last winter go get this video, sit back and enjoy. I
don't want to reveal you anything but damn Arthur what happen to the
car in Montreal? and what's up with Gangstar, Opio or
